The villa also provides free WiFi, free private parking and facilities for disabled guests. Everything! Extremely well equipped and comfortable. Excellent kitchen, lovely underfloor heating and great hot tub outside.

Located on a farm in Árhólar 11 km from the main road, Laxárdalur Cabin offers cottages with a kitchen, dining area and private bathroom Einarsstaðir is a 45-minute drive away, while Akureyri is 80 km away. Guests benefit from free WiFi. Super clean and functional cottage. It had all we needed.

Out of all our stays in Iceland, this one was the best. I am glad we booked in there for 2 nights. How they have availability is a mystery as they should be fully booked all the time. The gas Bbq worked wonderfully and the hot tub was great. Right on the waters edge and a cruise liner came by. So close

A seating area and refrigerator are featured in all cottages at Dalvík Vegamót. All have a private toilet, while some have a private shower. One of our favorite stops! We stayed in the old farmhouse, which has heated floors making it extremely comfy in winter. The hot tub and sauna were wonderful in the cold as well. Bjarni was incredibly nice and very friendly, he made our stay very pleasant and even helped make sure we were informed that our whale watching tour had changed to a different departure location. He showed us around the old movie theater when we went by his cafe. We felt super welcome and had a really enjoyable stay in a very nicely appointed cottage!
