Set in Shimoda, 35 km from Kumamoto Castle and 36 km from Hosokawa Residence Gyobutei, 南あその丘 offers air conditioning. The location of the house with such beautiful scenery was the highlight. We utilized the BBQ on 2 of the 3 nights we stayed and it was quite nice to have. The view while grilling of the volcano was really nice. The home was clean and the kitchen and dining area was quite large. There is a washing machine that also dries the clothes which made it nice to not have to pack so much. The tub was quite sophisticated where you can set the temperature and it would automatically fill. It is good to note that the home is located in the geo park so there are no grocery stores nearby so it is good to get your BBQ supplies and food before arriving to the home.

Kurokawa Mori-bærinn No Kiki er staðsett í Kurokawa Onsen-hverfinu í Minamioguni, í 49 km fjarlægð frá Kinrinko-stöðuvatninu. This stay was magical. The amenities were exceptional, and the house was extremely clean and relaxing. The onsen bath was a really great way to relax. We ended up cancelling our plans so that we could spend the day relaxing at the house instead. It was so peaceful and beautiful. The beds were so soft, and the quality of the bedding, toiletries, and the tea/coffee/ice cream/milk were really high! The owner was exceptionally nice, and he has a restaurant that we went to for dinner. I have dietary requirements, and they went to a huge effort to source ingredients that I could eat and prepared a delicious and extremely well priced meal. Everything about this stay was exceptional!

Offering a garden and mountain view, 青い空と白い龍 is situated in Minami Aso, 33 km from Egao Kenko Stadium Kumamoto and 38 km from Suizenji Park. The host family was very nice and made us a delicious japanese breakfast. Furthermore they made great restaurant recommendations. The house is stylishly furnished and has a beautiful view to the valley and the Aso mountains.

What a delight to stay at this beautiful Japanese style house with an abundance of amazing paintings by the owner. Spacious, cozy and functional rooms as well as the most kind and welcoming host. We would recommend this place to anybody who wants to have a great Japanese experience that really stands out. We would love to come back some time.

Offering a garden and garden view, 藤のヴィラ パイン棟 Check-out11時まで! Self Check-in is located in Aso, 39 km from Suizenji Park and 39 km from Hosokawa Residence Gyobutei. We really enjoyed staying here. The cabin is comfortable, well equipped and nicely furnished. A nice bonus is the pot belly stove fireplace and we used it every night.

Minshuku Hiro - Vacation STAY 84405v er staðsett í Kami Amakusa á Kumamoto-svæðinu og býður upp á gistirými með ókeypis einkabílastæði. It’s very spacious. You can see the bay while taking a shower. The living room is connected to the restaurant. The restaurant is usually not very busy, but if the noise bothers you, you can go upstairs. We stayed in the living room since it didn’t bother us at all. The owners are extremely nice. They actually took our son on a fishing trip on their boat and cooked the fish our son caught. The last night of our stay, we did fireworks with the owners and neighbors kids. It was so much fun. This place reminds me of Minshuku I used to stay with my parents. We fully enjoyed our stay there.
