Absolutely amazing and one of the best places that we have stayed in. We stayed in Edgware Cabana villa and the place is modern and so comfortable! Plus it has an amazing big bathroom with a tub big enough to fit 2. The staff were also absolutely amazing. They made our stay perfect and I would definitely recommend them. We went for the half board option and it was like getting a restaurant experience in the comfort of your own villa. I would recommend at least spending one day doing absolutely nothing but enjoying the villa. TV was big and had all streaming channels and WiFi was really good :)

Boasting pool views, Hilldale Retreat provides accommodation with an infinity pool, a garden and a shared lounge, around 12 km from Gregory Lake. Staff were so attentive, service was incredible and a very good value restaurant. My husband really enjoyed the sauna and pool - I see people have mentioned the pool not being heated but my husband thought the pool was extremely refreshing after spending time in the sauna. Overlooks tea plantations. Bed was massive and room was lovely and spacious.

Offering free bikes and garden view, Oliphant Boutique Villa by Amaya is located in Nuwara Eliya, 6.7 km from Gregory Lake and 14 km from Hakgala Botanical Garden. One of the best hotels in this little England like area. You will feel overdose nature here. Rooms are spacious, well maintained and clean. Price wise it is for sure not cheap, however for the same quality cottages you will have to stay in much expensive ones. Kind staff.

Conveniently situated in Nuwara Eliya, La Grande Villa provides express check-in and check-out and free private parking. Everything here is perfect, it was quite possibly the best place we have stayed in Sri Lanka and that includes places like the Heritance Kandalama which was dramatically more expensive. The property: Perfectly manicured and beautiful gardens with flowers everywhere. The building is beautiful with detailed wood finishing on all surfaces except the floor which is covered in beautiful plush carpeting which contributes to reduced noise from people walking around. All guests and staff remove their shoes and wear provided slippers around the property to ensure the floors are nice and clean. There’s also a pool table in the lobby. The room: A+ comfortable bed with down duvet, crisp sheets and more pillows than Martha Stewart would have on her bed - with a variety of thickness and firmness so anyone’s preference will be met. Super clean from top to bottom, excellent bathroom and shower with stone finishing and a jacuzzi tub which we used and it worked well. Television with Comedy Central so that made me happy at night. Clean glasses, coffee, tea, and one of the few rooms in Sri Lanka with a working refrigerator that had a small freezer for ice which was readily available from the hotel. Breakfast: We had the western and it was fantastic. I’m sure the Sri Lankan breakfast would be even better. Too much food though. Location: walking distance to the town center but far enough that it was very quiet at night and minimal tuktuk noise in the morning. Staff: attentive, kind, service oriented and professional - we have found this to be standard throughout Sri Lanka but it was even better here.

Offering a garden and garden view, Kent Cottage is located in Nuwara Eliya, 2.6 km from Gregory Lake and 7.2 km from Hakgala Botanical Garden. Kent Cotage located in very decent place with wonderful view in little England ,overall everything was perfect and specially their friendly staff. Nalaka was very supportive and very friendly and he make us to feel the place like our home.

Offering barbecue facilities and views of the mountains, Thuring's Holiday Bungalow is set in Nuwara Eliya, 600 metres from Gregory Lake. Free private parking is available on site. Really nice small stay with a kind host family. Really clean room and great bathroom with plenty of hot water. After a rainy day we enjoyed a warm shower. The host also helped us and organized laundry for us and we could use the blender and fridge of the family. Also great location to take a walk im the tea plantation. Its next by.

Located in the beautiful Nuwara Eliya Hills, boutique hotel Langdale by Amaya offers luxury rooms with amazing hillside views. It features an outdoor pool, a restaurant and free Wi-Fi. Staff was amazing, accommodating, kind. Room with a great view of the valley, plantations, train. Facilities were charming and well kept. Food was great, specially their signature dish.

Well set in the centre of Nuwara Eliya, Townside Lodge is a recently renovated holiday home, which provides free WiFi, a garden and free private parking for guests who drive. The hosts were exceptionally warm and friendly and accommodative. Responded to appeals promptly. Property was very clean, and the atmosphere pleasant for a holiday. The bedding and sofas were comfortable, and all necessities attended to. Privacy was ensured. Parking facility for a van was appreciated.
