My room was perfect, every detail of it. It was calming and relaxing. There is a magic aura all around the place.. yoga classes, meditation, events, special offers.. the spa and the food. Everything is lovely. You could literally never leave the place :). I felt like home. Thank you so much

This place is amazing. I thought the positive reviews were mainly because of the good value for money, however, this place really deserves a 10. The property is beautiful, spacious, and really well-kept. The rooms are extremely clean. I am quite demanding especially when it comes to cleanliness and this place is really pristine. The swimming pool is also beautiful and the water is translucid. The location couldn't be better, right on the main street in Ubud, and there is so much to see around there, even without transportation. From all I saw in Ubud, this is probably way above average. Some people complained about the breakfast but I think they have enough options, and it's not a waste of food like a buffet. And with so many amazing cafes in Ubud, if food is a priority for you, just book without breakfast. I was also happy to learn that the owners are concerned with plastic waste, for instance, they do not serve the usual small packages of butter and jam, they use for instance, banana leaves, and the jam was homemade. Absolutely gem, I couldn't recommend it more, I hope we come back.

The location was absolutely breathtaking, and no photos we have seen or taken will ever do it justice. The staff were exceptional and extremely well informed. We loved hearing about the origins of the dishes we and wines we had. Breakfast was fantastic, especially the breakfast smoothie bowls and Kalisat eggs. The duck we had for dinner is an absolute must for anyone staying at Villa Kalisat.
