Built in traditional Torajan style, Rura Raya Homestay is situated in Rantepao. The rooms here offers modern comforts and while maintaining the traditional decor. Amazing place surrounded by padi field. Great location Away from the busy town but near enough if you need to go to town. It can be hard to find food at night so the half board options were great. Manae our host is a great cook. We requested for vegetarian food and she dished out something different every night. But there's a good restaurant about 15 min walk away from the place. The room and bathroom is very clean. The wifi was definitely a bonus! The price was comparable to some of the hotels in town, except you get a more authentic and quieter stay with Rura Raya. Highly recommended.

Offering an accommodation with a dive centre, Happy Gecko Dive Resort is located on Bunaken Island in North Sulawesi, just steps from the island’s world-famous beaches and diving sites. Super friendly staff. The owners are great. There is a very friendly vibe. The food is delicious, homemade and shared with the other guests. The view from the room is incredible. The restaurant/ lounge area is super comfortable. Great dives and snorkel opportunities with equipment can be arranged on site. Diving instructors are amazing. You can even snorkel from the beach. Motorbike rentals can be arranged.

Guesthouse Guesthouse The 4 Fish is located in Tongkaina. Just 18 km from Manado and a 10-minute walk from a dive centre. Very friendly host who takes time for the individual interests of the guests.

Located in Bunaken, 3WILL Bunaken Dive Resort is only a short distance from beautiful snorkelling and diving spots. It boasts a diving centre, massage services and a tour desk. The location is absolutely fantastic A lovely scene in resort

Located right on Bara Beach in Bira, Cosmos Bungalows offers a beautifully simple beachfront accommodation where each bungalow has sea view. Free on-site parking space for guests who drive. The bungalows are simple and very nicely decorated. The views are to die for. I loved the stairs straight down to the beach, the hammock on the veranda, simplicity, small scale and the overall value for money. The food is yummy and the staff and owner very friendly and helpful. Highly recommended. Also, check out the diving centre next door, GaiaOne Boutique diving.

Located on Bunaken Island along the Pangalisan Beach, Cakalang Resort offers diving and snorkeling opportunities on-site. It has a restaurant and a 24-hour front desk. The food was very good. Ferdinand was great, the ferry wasn't running so he was able to find alternative transportation back and forth so we didn't miss out on our time at Bunaken. The reef is right in front of the facility.

Set on a mountain with views of natural scenery, Gardenia Country Inn is a 10-minute drive from Tomohon Traditional Market. The food was excellent and the gardens are spectacular

Gorgeous location, incredibly friendly and helpful staff, relaxing atmosphere and absolutely world-class diving :)
