We got a loft bed with the living room and bathroom below. The host was friendly and helped whatever way he could with any queries. Located away fron the busier part of the street, it is quiet enough with easy access to everything. However, not many shops are opened by 7. We had to go to the outside part of the town to have our breakfast and explore around there since they are already open by 7. Other than that, the McDonalds opens at 7. This is a good town to visit and everyone is friendly.

Kevin’s Old House is sort a traditional/vinatge/antique hotel in the center of Jing’an. If that’s your vibe; you’ll love it. It’s also co-located with Bella Napoli that makes amazing pizza. The room also had a laundry machine which makes life so much easier. Super helpful & friendly staff too. Will definitely stay again.

More or less everything we liked. The host (Mary) is a superb person. She picked us up from Xiao Jing Jewellery Store and also helped us in many ways. Provided free breakfast in the morning, and the room heater worked superbly. You can cook your food yourselves, and there is also free laundry. The toilet was also clean.This is not a hotel/hostel, It's a homestay. I will recommend it to everyone, and if I come to Shanghai again, definitely, I will stay here one more time.

The location was fantastic, I would definitely stay there again - really charming old building in an alleyway where locals live. A few minutes walk from the Metro station and lots of cute bars, shops, restaurants all around. The room was comfortable and had everything we needed. There's also a communal kitchen/eating area with a washing machine downstairs which is handy.
