The Alpenblick hotel is a typical, quiet and small Swiss Chalet hotel in Mürren, offering superb views of the Eiger, Mönch and Jungfrau mountains.

It is situated a 2-minute walk from the BLM railway station and is thus a great base for exciting excursions, for example to the Jungfraujoch, which is a UNESCO World Heritage area. The Sports Centre and the centre of Mürren are only a 8-minute walk away. Firstly, the location was pretty much ideal. As it was near the main train station that connects to Lauterbrunnen and/or Interlaken, you need only walk no more than a hundred paces over. We were able to leave the hotel mere minutes before the train departed with full confidence that we would arrive with time to spare. Secondly, the hosts Thomas and Jeannette were excellent. From our communication before the trip to our actual stay, they were warm and welcoming. It's always nice to have someone welcoming you back and asking about your day in a non-intrusive way. Their genuinity really made our stay that much better. Lastly, the rooms, breakfast, WiFi, and other facilities are all pretty decent. They definitely punch above the weight (price) class. Breakfast was great too. Especially love their pretzel croissant (laugencroissant).

Located in Spiez in the Canton of Bern region, THE BEST LAKE HOUSE -3 minutes to the train features a terrace and lake views. This homestay provides accommodation with a balcony. Free WiFi is available and private parking can be arranged at an extra charge. Very close to the train station only couple of minutes walk away. The host is excellent and very helpful. The rooms were spacious and clean. The lake view from rooms and the balcony were beautiful. Great value for money.

Well situated in the centre of Interlaken, Henry's Apartments Interlaken is a recently renovated homestay, which offers free WiFi, a garden and free private parking for guests who drive. Housed in a building dating from 1908, this homestay is 19 km from Grindelwald Terminal and 22 km from Giessbachfälle. The homestay provides garden views and a picnic area. The apartment was very comfy, my husband and I had a good time there. This apt has everything you might need. Location was perfect, near down town and train station but located at quiet side, so you will have a nice sleep. I will stay here again if I come back to Interlaken.

This pet-friendly homestay also has free WiFi. Breathtaking view from the balcony, Alex was very helpful and he and his wife even gave us some fresh eggs from their chickens during our stay. It is a large house with plenty of room, about a 10 min walk from the train station at Wengen. Very quiet at night and we would love to return one day

The homestay is equipped with a flat-screen TV. The kitchenette features a fridge, a stovetop and kitchenware, as well as coffee machine and kettle. The property has an outdoor dining area.

A minimarket is available at the homestay. We had the whole ground floor of the house to ourselves, including our own kitchen and outdoor seating area. Home is < 100 feet from the lake front with a lovely public lawn on the water to sit in. Host was incredibly kind and accommodating - she did a load of laundry for us as we were in the middle of a long trip, and offered to pick up groceries we needed from Lidl as the store in town is quite expensive. Lots of pamphlets in the house with information on nearby excursions and other activities.
