Located 1 km away from Lucerne, Gasthaus zur Waldegg features 2 restaurants offering traditional Swiss and international cuisine, a bar and a beer garden overlooking Mount Pilatus. Friendly staff, excellent room conditions. Breakfast included multiple options; great coffee machine, breads, yoghurt, etc. Located 10-15 min bus ride from Central Luzern train station. You can also opt to walk 5-6 minutes to the nearest station (Matttenhof) to travel to other places. We would like to thank the staff for making our memories in Luzern an exceptional one.

The squicky floors add character to the hotel. Very nice view from the window. The room and bathroom were immaculate. The breakfast was fresh and delicious. I would happily recommend this hotel to anyone.

Budget rooms Pilatus - Alpnachstad, a property with a shared lounge, is set in Alpnachstad, 15 km from Lion Monument, 16 km from KKL Culture and Convention Centre Lucerne, as well as 16 km from Chapel... The property is new and very cozy and clean. There are two more rooms with whom you have to share the bathroom but it is a big and clean modern bathroom. There is also a living room with TV and coffee station for common use. Everything looked new and clean, we felt really home, would highly recommend.

The stylish Wanderlust Guesthouse is located in Weggis, 200 metres form the lake and at the foot of the Rigi mountain. Free Wi-Fi is featured throughout the property. Lucerne is a 30-minute drive... We enjoyed the stay in Wanderlust Guesthouse :) It was very nice to get a small card with the most important information for the area. Room & common bathroom was very clean. The room was actually bigger than I expected & had a balcony. The guesthouse has two well equiped kitchen with dishwasher. The lake is a 2 minutes walk away & we left our car the 2 days on the guesthouse car parking and walked all the way up to Rigi :) Can highly recommend Wanderlust Guesthouse :)

Hostel Rotschuo Jugend & Familienherberge is located on the shores of Lake Lucerne just 300 metres from the next bus stop. right side by the lake, swimming is available here, on top of that, the staff is very nice, very considerable and warm hearted.

Really comfortable and peaceful stay. Stunning views and walks on doorstep. Excellent transport links. The villa is an exclusive area - just out the tourist-filled Lucerne but close enough to get to places and do everything you want to (20 mins on the 21 bus). Francesco and Sylvia were lovely hosts and made us feel very welcome. We enjoyed a lovely breakfast on the terrace. Thank you so much

Directly on the shore of Lake Lucerne in Buochs, Rigiblick am See houses an à la carte restaurant with a terrace and panoramic views over the lake. Cable TV and a minibar are a standard in each room. We wanted something a little out of the way yet still about to appreciate the view. This provided everything in abundance. The accommodation was decadent with a beautiful balcony that you could sit and watch the surrounding lake and mountains until the stars glittered above. The room was glorious, the restaurant was amazing and the walks from the hotel just perfect.
