The hotel is located in a beautiful and peaceful location with stunning views of the surrounding mountains and rice paddies. The staff were incredibly friendly, especially Lonnie and Francesca, and accommodating, and the rooms were spacious and comfortable. I especially loved the traditional Javanese architecture and decor, which added to the overall charm of the hotel. The food was delicious and top-notch. I would highly recommend Bhumi Kasuryan Borobudur for anyone looking for a relaxing and authentic Indonesian experience.

We really enjoyed our stay, and Rifad was a great host - friendly and easy to talk to, knowledgeable about the attractions and helpful (he even arranged some printing work for us). The location was great for exploring Solo, central, yet quiet and safe. The room was spacious and clean, as was the bathroom, and there was space outside to sit and relax in a little garden. The delicious local breakfast and free coffee was a nice addition. We'll definitely choose Rifad's place for our next stay in Solo.

Floating Paradise is a secluded accommodation in the east of Karimunjawa, and is the only solar-powered accommodation on the island. It truly was a floating Paradise! We loved every single minute of it. Nothing around you, cannot get more relaxing, crystal clear water, fish & coral reef as part of your view. The sound of the water under your feet … it was my husband’s birthday and I wanted something special for him, this was an amazing experience for both. Extremely clean, Bathroom was beautiful and comfortable! The host went far and beyond to help us short notice on the return ticket for the ferry, we will be always thankful for that 🙏.

Janur Bungalow offers an accommodation in Borobudur, set in a village surrounded by rice fields. It boasts an outdoor pool with overflow circulation system. Bobby the host/owner is super accommodating and kind throughout our stay. He made sure that everything we need was taken care of.

My third time here. The service is excellent. Foods are great, with lots of options to choose from, and the portion is super generous. FANTASTIC breakfast! Feels like a queen on a mini banquet. The villa looks very lovely, got a feel of staying in Central Java's traditional house. It is also very comfortable inside, with modern amenities. The AC is cold, helps to cool down if there is any heatwave. Love the shower with the plants and stone wall too. Swimming pool is clean and has a nice size. There are activities to choose from, arranged by the resort. They can also arrange transport to the city center or airport. Staffs are super helpful and knowledgeable. All and all good value for money. Great place to unwind. Resort is beautifully designed.

Offering clean and comfortable rooms, Efata Homestay is located just a 5-minute walk from Borobudur Temple. Free WiFi access is available in all areas. The owner Ika and his wife are amazing people and extremely helpful. The room is clean, the breakfast is big and tasty, the garden is so beautiful and the location is perfect.

Nastanitev 44 Guest House Syariah se nahaja v mestu Purwokerto, 21 km od znamenitosti Owabong in 42 km od znamenitosti Mount Slamet. Guesthouse 44 was my second home for a week in Purwokerto. The room was not spacious, but it had all necessary appliances and good air conditioning. A double room was just enough for my luggage, so I suggest if you travel with a partner, get a bigger room, the price is really affordable. The bathroom might surprise you, because it has no sink, just a shower, and no mirror, which is somewhat inconvenient. The room was sparkling clean, the bed sheets and the towels smelled amazing, it was regularly cleaned and supplied with bottled water every day. As a foreigner, you might get some special treatment, as the managers are really caring and put in a lot of effort to be of best service. The breakfast is abundant, if you don't like the local style, they'll prepare you some pancakes, omelette and steamed vegetables, so as to make sure you don't go out hungry. It is a good idea to bring some small present for the lady and her husband who run the hotel (they are about 60) - it will make their day. At their place you will surely feel as a part of a big family. Please bear in mind, that although the hotel is near the city center, you cannot walk in Purwokerto, since the streets are bustling with cars and motorcycles and there are no sidewalks for pedestrians. Walking is really dangerous, so better take a taxi. And speaking of taxies, I can recommend this nice young taxi driver in Jakarta, working for the Bluebird company, who speaks perfect English and is a very honest and helpful person: +62 852-1258-2235 (Willy). You may contact him on WhatsApp in advance, and he'll pick you up at the airport, without an extra fee. I had to bargain with many taxi drivers when I arrived in Jakarta in order to get an almost fair price, while this one trusts his meter, so no need to worry. Good luck with your adventure!

I can say…there is no better option for stay in Jepara and it doesn’t matter if go for vacation or business. Very quiet place a nice staff always prepared to help your requests. 10/10
