ゲストハウス喜舎場, a property with a shared lounge, is set in Ishigaki Island, 1.7 km from Painuhama Artificial Beach, 2.9 km from Tadahama Beach, as well as 500 metres from Yaeyama Museum. It’s the best guesthouse that I have been to in Okinawa (out of 4). First things first, Kishaba, the owner, is so nice and informative. The facility is amazing, from the large beds to the well equipped kitchen and the nice living room. 5 minutes walk from everything you’ll need. I will surely come back.

Happy Island Miyako er staðsett á Miyako-eyju, 1,9 km frá Painagama-strönd og 6,2 km frá Irabu-brú. Boðið er upp á garð og borgarútsýni. Gististaðurinn státar af sameiginlegu eldhúsi og sólarverönd. Happy Island Miyako is one of the best guesthouses we’ve ever stayed! Feels like home and wished to stay longer. Max is indeed one of the best hosts ever, together with Shiori. Our Miyakojima experience is so memorable with these guys! Our bed is comfortable, everything you need is here! free towel rentals, toiletries, water, condiments for cooking and even laundry! We’ve celebrated Max’s 60th birthday and this night is one of the most memorable nights I’ve ever had in my backpacking experience. The host also helped us to rent a car during the busiest days of Obon week. We are truly grateful! Thank you so much, Max and Shiori (and Happy!!) !!! Indeed a wonderful experience. Indeed a ‘Happy Island’ Miyako ^_^

Featuring quiet street views, Travelers House おーさんてぃん青空舎 features accommodation with terrace, around 1.2 km from Naarasa Beach. It is located 1.2 km from Kondoi Beach and offers luggage storage space.... There is nothing like it! Don't wanna spoil the surprise, so go and find out. A world of Arrietty from Gibri! Best bed also for us. So comfortable!

ゲストハウス石垣 is situated in Ishigaki Island and features a shared lounge. Guests can make use of a garden. Rooms are fitted with a shared bathroom. Ishigaki Island is 1.2 km from the hostel. loved the guesthouse. It’s beautifully designed inside. The shower was really big. Rooms were big and the beds were comfortable. Andy and Haruko are amazing hosts. The snorkelling tour is worth it, we saw sharks, turtles and snakes. Best guesthouse we’ve stayed in so far

Guesthome Machiya Koza er gististaður í Okinawa-borg, 8,2 km frá Nakagusuku-kastala og 8,6 km frá Katsuren-kastala. Þaðan er útsýni yfir borgina. Owner was very kind and friendly, also considerate of my late arrival. Location was very clean, all amenities available (laundry, towels, shower, etc)

Stäy Hotel er staðsett í Nago, nálægt Sumuide-ströndinni og 1,2 km frá Airakuen-ströndinni en það býður upp á verönd með fjallaútsýni, ókeypis útlán á reiðhjólum og garð. The room is very comfortable (nice fluffy beds!), has a small seating area, a small fridge and microwave. The view from the balcony on the 2nd floor is truly breathtaking and I absolutely recommend having your breakfast and/or afternoon snack there! Room and bathroom are very clean and the interior/decoration is fun and unique. The owners are very nice people, late check-in was no problem at all and they are happy to help you. The location is great for exploring the whole island, though I would recommend renting a car to get to the hotel and then explore Okinawa!

Shimaotoya er staðsett í Iriomote og býður upp á sérherbergi og svefnsali. Ókeypis skutluþjónusta er í boði frá Nakama-höfninni (Ohara), í 5 mínútna akstursfjarlægð. Öll herbergin eru með loftkælingu.... Great place to meet friendly people, check in/out was easy, more than enough space to cook/shower/chill out!
