Tommy and his family are special, we had a beautiful connection since the begging 😊 Delft Island is an hidden gem out of the touristic route and for us one of the highlight of our trip to Sri Lanka. What makes the difference is the people, always smiling and welcoming, and ready to help! Tommy's place is simply gorgeous, tents are comfortable and it has everything you need. You can also rent bikes to go around the island and explore. His mom cooked delicious breakfast and dinner for us, and it was the best food we've had 😊 I highly recommend Tommy's place because you can really feel the love he has put to build it. The WiFi signal can be a bit wobbly, but it doesn't really cramp your stay.

Location was around two km from the town but wvery time I needed to go to the town, hotel arranged a tuk tuk immediately. So, it was not an issue and not expensive either. Rooms were clean. Bathroom and toilet were super clean which I didn't expect in this part of Sri Lanka. AC in the room was good. Gen set is available in case of a power cut. Special thanks to Prasath.
