We recommend staying in this cute little Hotel. It s clean, with comfy beds, a rain shower, and a nice little balcony with a view of the garden. We spotted black-faced monkeys, a mongoose, and those big squirrels. The family is so welcoming, they offer to cook dinner (it was delicious every single time) and the included breakfast is delicious too (fruit, coffee tea toasts, and two Sri Lanka specialties that change every morning). They helped us plan our trip and are truly wonderful people. We extended our stay and loved it. Will come back :)

I recommend the place to those, who want to stay in some peace, far from the noice and enjoy the nature. It is also quite close to Lion Rock (5km).

The Cave Temple which is near The Green Jungle, is an experience in itself, either to view6a sunrise or a sunset. The property is maintained immaculately and one can rest comfortably on the veranda or in the garden. The local buses (cheap and easy to use) stop close to the property. All in all, the family of husband and wife and two children, together with the maternal grandparents are ever-smiling and obliging. The grandmother will be prepared to cook you some lunch or dinner as required.
