Fun place to stay! The owners were really characterful and friendly. It's right in the jungle and the garden is like a jungle too. The room was great, very clean, hot running water and really well kitted out rooms - Good AC, a stocked fridge with cold drink minibar type setup, kettle, tea/coffee, a big washing bowl handy for washing clothes. The entrance to Sigriya is directly opposite the access road to this place - you could not stay any closer, so ideal for an early morning start up the rock. The Breakfast here is absolutely stunning, 18 different items, all cooked by the host in the morning, hoppers, pancakes, little omelets, jaffles.. it just keeps coming out! We had our own tuktuk so driving around, going out at night wasn't a big deal, and the owner can easily organise a tuktuk pickup as this guesthouse is set back into the jungle. A 5min walk from main road in the daylight but maybe not something to try in the dark. We would happily stay again!

Hidden Lake Cottages Sigiriya is located in Sigiriya and features a private pool and lake views. Featuring babysitting service, this property also provides guests with a picnic area. Rooms were big and very clean… Food was hand cooked by Owner itself… Her hospitality was really good… breakfast menu was fulfilling and overall value for money stay..

Offering a garden and garden view, Simoya Nature Park is set in Dambulla, 19 km from Sigiriya Rock and 22 km from Pidurangala Rock. The hosts were wonderful — they were prompt in replying to our messages and tended to our needs. The breakfast we were served was delicious. The bed was comfy and the place was extremely clean.

Favourite homestay, the family are so welcoming and attentive. Room in amazing, it’s walking distance to local food places and stores so you only have to tuk tuk to sites etc. Breakfast was amazing too! Thank you so much

1.7 km from Sigiriya Rock, Hungry Lion Resort is a recently renovated property situated in Sigiriya and features air-conditioned rooms with free WiFi and private parking. Camera spaziosa e pulita. La struttura é molto vicina all'ingresso di Sigiriya (10 min. a piedi). Gli host molto gentili, ci hanno permesso di fare colazione e doccia al ritorno dell'escursione a Sigiriya. Ottima l'aria condizionata funzionante.

Dotata di un giardino, la Relax Nature Villa si trova a Sigiriya, nel distretto di Matale, a 1,9 km dalla Roccia di Sigiriya e a 2,4 km dalla Roccia di Pidurangala. Il posto è magico, in mezzo alla natura. C'è calma e pace tutto il giorno. I proprietari sono di una gentilezza e disponibilità incredibili. Soggiorno meraviglioso.

Situata a circa 5 km dalla Roccia di Sigiriya, la Galaxy View Home Stay Sigiriya offre una vista sul giardino, un giardino e un balcone. I accidentally booked a room for three at Galaxy, but when we saw our room we decided to stay another night, it was perfect. We were up a tree, so we didn't need air conditioning and there were no mosquitoes. The attention to detail in the room was superb; including coloured towels for the swimming pool, and a smaller towel next to the bathroom sink. A small fridge in the room, and cushions on the chairs in the sit-out area. All in all, well done. And of course the food was great too 👍

Situato a Sigiriya, nel distretto di Matale, lo Shan Mango Homestay offre una piscina coperta e servizi gratuiti quali la connessione WiFi e un parcheggio privato. The best homestay we had in Sri Lanka. The hosts are the nicest people. The lady made us feel so welcome. They would arrange scooter or loundry or safarii or anything you want. There are only two rooms so the whole stay felt like home. We had the lovely pool for ourselves. Room was big, pretty and clean. Perfect working AC and fun. Location is nice but I would suggest rent a scooter and have a freedom of exploring Sigyryja. However the are few restaurants in walking distance or host can cook for you some dishes as well. Don't hesitate to book it. You will love it.

Situato a 8 km dallo Stadio Internazionale Rangiri Dambulla, il Green Jungle offre sistemazioni con giardino, una terrazza e una reception aperta 24 ore su 24. Everything was perfect. The best room we had in Sri Lanka so far. Everything was very clean. Nuwan is a very nice person, offered help in anytime we needed and provided great tips. The breakfast was amazing too, cooked by the Nuwan wife, who is also a very helpful person.
