You can organize a safari with them, but we organized it with a different guide, and that was no problem for them.

We were a close family group of 7 persons in 3 rooms. You will not be disappointed. It is only 100 metres from NP entrance & lake edge. Magical entry is unique thru bush path that opens onto safari style forest huts in keeping with the secluded setting. The rooms were exceptionally clean, beds comfy with mosquito nets. Ensuite was spotless. The best part was our host Neehal! His limited English was more than made up for by his entusiasm & attention to detail. Were ate all meals on site and were exceptional provided by Sanjay.. Highly reccomended !!! Ask Neehal about our safari guide Bhashi from Visit Wilpattu - our no 1 experience in whole of Sri Lanka.

Wilpattu homestay by Ceylon group ligger 35 km från Kumbichchan Kulama Tank och erbjuder boende med gratis cyklar, en trädgård och en gemensam lounge samt restaurang. Such a good place to stay! Super friendly owner, full of energy, always smiling and funny guy! Always keen to help in any situation! He also organise safari for you in the best conditions, breakfast and lunch included, good car and good driver. And the food was amazing, big buffet with local food, so tasty! Highly recommend this place, hope to come back one day!

Wilpattu Dolosmahe ligger i Wilpattu, 38 km från Kumbichchan Kulama Tank och 39 km från Jaya Sri Maha Bodhi. Här erbjuds boende med en trädgård, gemensam lounge, en restaurang och gratis WiFi. This was some of the best few days we had during our 2 week stay in Sri Lanka. Our hosts were very sweet and couldn’t do enough for us. Sussil offered us a safari tour soon after our arrival but wasn’t pushy or forceful. Immediately I felt he was very genuine in the price he quoted us and was able to bring it down by asking if we would share the jeep with other guests. His knowledge and skills on safari were excellent and we were not disappointed with our day. Even after a full 12 hour day safari Sussil made the guests Sri Lankan dinner and catered to everyone’s needs. Absolute hero with very good English skills. Room was good for the price and most importantly location just a few metres from the park entrance.
