We have been welcomed by the wonderful host Lucrecia (Richar’s wife) alongside with her daughter. The rooms are really nice and clean and the view is just incredible. For lunch dinner and breakfast Lucrecia cooks delicious and healthy meals that we loved. Spending some time there has been truly relaxing and one to one with nature and local culture! Thank you to the family, highly recommended for a unique experience. Note on how to arrive: Easily grab a local bus “collectivo” from Puno to Capachica and then take a local boat from Chifforn Port to Amantaní. Then either you walk 1+ hours or take a ride with the motorbike that are available at the port waiting (very cool experience)

It’s the right place to rest for a while. Food is super good, here an italian is speaking so trust me, the family is so nice and full of kindness. The room is claen with private bathroom and i had no problems with water supply. What else? Just come they took a pice of my heart.

They pick you up/drop you at the port, offer their own tours around the Uros and help organise tours to the other islands. Different options for meals (including vegetarian), quite good and at a good price. Hot beverages for free. Plenty of blankets to cope with the cold at night.
