Isaac and his family are such kind people, they welcomed us on their island and showed us their culture in a beautiful way. The room is super big with amazing view on the lake. We had dinner on the island and it was very tasty, breakfast too! We went fishing and explored the islands, truly an amazing experience. Go visit!

Offering city views, killa andina inn is an accommodation situated in Puno, less than 1 km from Deustua Arc and a 14-minute walk from Viewpoint Puma Uta. Very nice woman that looked after the place. The place was very clean and comfy.

From sharing English phrases for Quechua with Ernesto to drinking local tea, watching the sunsets, to hiking the local trails, I can not recommend enough.

Offering city views, Tikawasi Homestay Comunidad Pueblo Isla Amantani José Luis in Amantani features accommodation and a garden. With garden views, this accommodation offers a patio. Exceptional experience I highly recommend to anyone even remotely interested in visiting Amantani Island. I did this alone and Pilar and Jose treated me like family. They were so nice and welcoming and did whatever they could to make my stay as comfortable as possible, they even made sure I got off the island back to Puno without a problem. They recommended me some fun hikes to Pachamama and Pachatata which are well worth it! Make sure you come to the island with an empty stomach because they LOVE to cook big extravagant meals. The beds are comfy and heavily layered so that you won't get cold at night. They taught me a little of the Quechua language as well which I was more than happy to learn. I only stayed one night but wish I could have stayed longer, it was so fantastic!

Featuring a bar, Posada de Oliver features accommodation in Llachon. This beachfront property offers access to free WiFi and free private parking. This was a perfect stay. Oliver, Sebastiana and their children are a lovely family who you instantly feel at home with. The room we had was spacious, private and had a beautiful view of the lake. Hot water and WiFi worked amazingly for the area and the food provided (for an extra cost, but really good value), was very tasty and varied. There are a few walks to do in the area to keep you busy, and Oliver can also take you out on his boat to some of the local islands and to see the trout farm he runs (again, for an extra fee but for what you get, we thought it was really good value for money. You have to remember you have the boat completely to yourselves and there were no other tourists on the floating island we visited, making the experience very authentic). There's a really nice outdoor seating to enjoy the sun and view. Getting there is also very easy with collectivos going regularly from Puno and Juliaca for next to nothing. With pool views, Uros Lodge Lover Titiqaqa is located in Puno and has a restaurant, free shuttle service, bar and garden. I loved how there was a little store and everything was built on trust- made me feel very good :)

I loved absolutely EVERYTHING First of all the extreme kindness and genuine care The location that is in a real part of Puno, not touristy and yet really central, close to everything you need, and especially the bus/train stations are a walking distance And yet really quiet Amazing beds and covers, and hot showers Hot water for teas too Simple, homemade delicious and filling breakfast I recommend 200% And will be looking forward to booking again if I visit Puno again! A HUGE thank you 🙏🏾
