Location and the view are just superb!!!! really close to the West street (especially if you rent a bike or bicycle), lots of small fruit shops nearby. Staff is friendly and speaks great English, always trying to help you to find out information. You can grab a decent coffee (for its price) at the reception and enjoy Mountain View near the pool. please be prepared that it’s a guest house, so the room equipment is very minimalist, just with couple of towels, shampoo, shower gel and slippers. Free toothbrush you can grab at the reception. Again, for its price this is a perfect choice for solo travelers or friends trip. Definitely not for families.

It is the best hostel I have stayed at in China. I want to give it more than 10 points if it is possible. It was super clean throughout. The lady working as manager had a native-speaker level of English proficiency as she came to China after living in Boston, US. She was so nice and tried to help me in every way. Its location is perfect as the bus station is only five minute walk away.

I am glad that I chose to travel to Yangshuo and choose this hotel to stay. The view is beautiful, the hotel is very clean, the hotel managers are a Chinese and French couple, in addition to their respective native languages, they also speak fluent English, and provided me with a lot of help and advice during my trip to Yangshuo. Especially the airport transfer part, which saved me a lot of energy. The hotel is very clean both in the rooms and in the public areas, there is a small bar, the garden is beautiful, everything is relaxing, I hope I have the opportunity to come here again. For travel friends who don't know which hotel to choose, boldly choose this one.

Very good location and has nice people. I can easily go to different places at Xingping. The services in the hostel are also good. I join RMB130(including all the ticket and travel fees) sunrise trip to Xianggong Mountain(相公山). The driver is a very nice young gentleman. He picked us up at around 5:30 am and bring us back to Xingping before 9 am. I recommend you all join it.

Clean room. Comfortable bed. Adequate facilities. Clean towels. Upstairs restaurant got nice food and nice view. Comfortable environment.

I saw the reviews and almost didn't give this place a chance but eventually decided to go anyway, and I'm glad I did. The hostel is nothing like what the bad reviews say. The rooms were tidy, the linens were clean, and the best were comfortable. The rooms had AC and privacy curtains. I'm really not sure what some people expect from a cheap youth hostel because as far as hostels go across Asia, this one was decent.
