Had an exceptional stay in Casa de las Americas during my week in Cartagena. The location was perfect for walking around to restaurants and sights while being quiet, the room was very clean and comfortable for one person and I was offered a nice small breakfast every morning. The highlight of my stay however was meeting David and Maty who made me feel at home with their chats and recommendations on places to see. Hands down the best hostel experience!

Everything! The room exceeded our expectations. Spacious, with a wonderful balcony and view to one of the many beautiful and colourful Cartagena streets, private bathroom in perfect conditions, and (always a nice detail for me) a full body mirror. The location is just what you want. Especially after visiting the popular Boca Grande area, we realized how much better it is to stay in the historic center of the city. The staff was very pleasant and helpful. And breakfast was always tasty and adequate.
