Wonderful hostesse, so helpful and cheery! My bed in the dorm was so cosy. Good value for money So close to the bus station and also organised shuttle for a good price round trip to one of the best parks (so underated) Rincon de la vieja. It was one of my best days in costa rica! The park is amazing. I came back soaked from having fallen in mud and in the waterfall and she offered to clean my shoes. What a lovely lady.

They were very comfortable with AC units inside. I loved that out host asked how early we needed to leave the next day and ensured that coffee would be made for us. The living space was very cozy to hang out in as well. We arrived on the day of a festival and loved that we were able to walk just down the street to view the parade. Additionally, we really appreciated the parking availability. It made us feel very safe.
