Built in 1989, this 2-star hostel is within 1.7 km of Helsinki Cathedral and 2 km of Helsinki Central Station. I was a solo traveller and I really enjoyed this Hostel! The room was clean and cozy, there is also a mini-kitchen, a washing-machine and an hairdryer! Even though there are shared bathrooms, they are all very clean! The position is amazing! Just a 20-minute walk from the train station and the city center, and a 40-minute bus ride from the airport! There is also a grocery store in the opposite building! Unfortunately, I only spent a night there, but if I ever came back, I would definitely choose this hostel again!

It's my first time in Finland. But I was worried because I thought my English was not sufficient. Despite this, the staff there is very helpful and sympathetic. They answered the questions carefully and made suggestions about what I could do in Finland.

The price of the hostel was great. The location was convenient - it took me around 30 minutes to go to the city centre using the tram station nearby. The staff was friendly too. ● It's a room in a private apartment so there wasn't any other tourists and I felt much more privacy than in a hostel. ● Surrounding area seems to be very quiet and safe. ● There is a shopping centre with everything you may need nearby (especially kebab there is very good 👌).

Perfect location, friendly staff. The hostel is just on one floor which makes it feel less anonymous and more friendly and safe. The bunk beds were wooden so it was much more stable than the metal ones. The room had a sink and a mirror.
