From the entrance of the hostel, you have amazing views of the mount Fuji. Beds are comfortable, it has a nice place to socialize and grab drinks.

Where do I start? Ah right, first things first, this is a clean freak speaking. Sharing showers, toilets, common areas and some other things is pretty difficult for some of us, coming from someone working in the service industry, I have learned to tolerate, live with and do not let it trouble me so much (although I find people in general to be filthy). K's House surprised me about how strict they were with the cleaning from the very moment my wife and I arrived. For instance, there are cleaning hours were you can not take a shower due to cleaning, reading that made me so happy! The first night we went grocery shopping but we were so tired from all our walking that day that we went to bed with kind of empty stomachs. We cooked us a beautiful meal the next day, there are frying pans, pots, toasters, a rice cooker, cutlery, free instant coffee and tea (just be sure to wash everything you use before and after!) . The common areas are thoroughly cleaned everyday which made me feel at ease as my wife and I stayed there chatting with a guy we met. Sadly for us, it heavy rained during most of our stay. Fortunately, the early morning of our last day, it cleared out and we were able to finally see the star of the trip, Fuji-san. We do recommend to rent their bikes for an early morning ride for only ¥500 from 20h00 - 8h00 (late night early morning fee), ¥200 per hour for the old bike and ¥300 per hour for the new bike from 8h00. The difference between the old and new bikes are the time when they were purchased. We picked the new ones (the day before since reception closes at 20h00) for an early morning use until 10h of the following day, in total ¥500 (early morning fee) x 2 + ¥300 (new bike per hour fee) x 2 for a total of ¥2200 for 2 people. This is actually very cheap if you feel like having a late night or early morning ride since you would be paying only ¥500 from 20h00-8h00!

Super cozy, clean and comfortable hostel! Perfect beds and very nice spacious common space. Board games and bar were a great addition to the comfort of my stay! The staff was helpful and kind. The hostel is 5 minutes from the Kawaguchiko lakeshore with majestic views of Mount Fuji. Can't be better!
