A monastery experience not to be forgotten. The room is nicely renovated, clean, has a reasonable internet connection. Most of all, it is was unbelievably quiet. I was the only guest there, so it was an unique experience to walk the monastery corridors at night. Also, I had to catch up with some work on my computer while here and what usually takes me 6 hours needed here only 3 hours. So it is likely a high productivity working environment as well :)

The staff were very nice, and opened a shed for us to store our bicycles. The breakfast was wonderful with made-to-order eggs and coffee that wasn't out of a machine. An added bonus is the connection to the pub in the building where we shared a few beers. Kamnik is a lovely little town.

Great location for trip to Ljubljana, Bled or Velika Planina by car. Nice pool, large garden, calm environment, rural location, plenty of parking. Fantastic friendly and helpful hosts who live here, and will assist you on your needs and questions. Keep in mind that some areas, like the corridors and frontdoor, are shared.

The accomodation is very beautiful and the shower is really great. Sadly it was a little cold outside, so we couldn't use the terrace but I imagine it to be even greater in the summer. Would absolutly recommend, as this is also a great location to visit Ljubljana, the caves, Bled or Piran/Triest by car :)SandraGroup
