Everything !!!! Like a dream come true to be staying in a cloister from 1683 is just incredible. With a view of the church out of the window. Loved hearing the church bell chiming. The hostel has been renovated to still show the stunning arches and brickwork. The four bed dorm was super comfy. The bunk beds are made of solid steel, so no noises when you move, also the top bunk is high enough that you can sit on the bottom bunk comfortably. The bathrooms have great showers, basins and toilets, never had to wait to use any of the facilities. The facilities downstairs are really great. Quite a few seating areas, pool table, vending machine, plus a bar to buy snacks and drinks. Not that you need to buy snacks as their breakfast is one of the best I have had on my whole Belgium trip. Staff were very helpful and friendly. Very centrally located. Walked to the river, over the bridges and you are in the centre of town. Quite a few supermarkets right near the hostel, to buy food to prepare yourself in the communal kitchen or buy from the many restaurants right outside.

The view from the terrace was worthy of a four star hotel. The rooms were clean and quiet. The breakfast was really good, plenty to choose from. The evening meal was really good too, huge portions of freshly cooked food and excellent value too. The staff were really helpful and welcoming. I will definitely be making another visit to this hostel.
