Set in Abraão, 300 metres from Abraao Beach, Lila Limao Hostel offers air-conditioned rooms and a terrace. I so so so enjoyed my stay! I never really write reviews, but this time I said I would do it as I liked it so much. the staff and the family are incredibly kind, the rooms have a good size and the bathroom is en-suite, with an extra shower option out of the room as well. the wi-fi internet is fast and the kitchen is amazing. my favourite place in Brazil so far!

It’s like a tropical paradise. The exterior gardens are wonderful. Breakfast is great. The dorms are kept very clean and with good air conditioning. Absolutely gorgeous location. Lovely family of owners who will try their best to accommodate you.

Hostel Papagaio is set in Ilha Grande, 200 metres from Sain't Sebastian Church. Free WiFi is available in public areas. All rooms feature a private bathroom with shower. I really really recommend staying at hostel papagaio. It immediately felt like home, it is a very intimate hostel and the owners are just great hosts. It’s super clean and the common area feels like a living room, the kitchen is perfectly equipped and there is free coffee and if you are lucky snacks. I wouldn’t have left if I didn’t have to! Offering practical accommodation in the idyllic Ilha Grande, Biergarten Pousada & Hostel is set 5 km from Lopes Mendes Beach. WiFi access is available throughout. My boyfriend and I stayed here over Christmas. It was lovely. The rooms were very comfortable and the shower was lovely and warm. The communal areas were really nice and made for a really nice relaxing stay. The open air kitchen was perfect for cooking any meal. The rooms were cleaned everyday by the lovely hotel staff. I don’t speak much Portuguese and I had no problem communicating with the staff as one of the receptionist spoke English. Everyone who worked there could not have been more helpful. The location was perfect and near the beaches, restaurants and bars and 5 mins walk to the pier. I would 100% stay here again.
