The best hostel I've ever stayed on. In-suite bathrooms with great showers. Comfortable beds. Open common areas with a garden, and very friendly staff.

One of my favourite hostels! It’s like a tropical paradise. The exterior gardens are wonderful. Breakfast is great. The dorms are kept very clean and with good air conditioning. Absolutely gorgeous location. Lovely family of owners who will try their best to accommodate you.

Hostel Papagaio is set in Ilha Grande, 200 metres from Sain't Sebastian Church. Free WiFi is available in public areas. All rooms feature a private bathroom with shower. One of the best hostel I stayed in! Giselle and Eloïse are super welcoming and the other guests were all very friendly. The hostel being quite small, it's easy to get to know all the guests. The location is perfect, in the center of Abrãao, you can walk everywhere easily.

My boyfriend and I stayed here over Christmas. It was lovely. The rooms were very comfortable and the shower was lovely and warm. The communal areas were really nice and made for a really nice relaxing stay. The open air kitchen was perfect for cooking any meal. The rooms were cleaned everyday by the lovely hotel staff. I don’t speak much Portuguese and I had no problem communicating with the staff as one of the receptionist spoke English. Everyone who worked there could not have been more helpful. The location was perfect and near the beaches, restaurants and bars and 5 mins walk to the pier. I would 100% stay here again.
