HI-Athabasca Falls is situated in Jasper, within 33 km of Jasper SkyTram and 34 km of Marmot Basin Ski Area. The hostel has family rooms. At the hostel, rooms have a patio. The property was in a lovely spot close to nature. The fire pit was sensational. Lots of laughs and good times. Even saw the northern lights. The hosts T and Lou were superb, very helpful and social.

Poised alongside the Maligne River, just above the spectacular depths of Maligne Canyon, this serene hostel is an all-season destination. The hostel is located just besides the river. I can say perfect location for camping. You can listen water flowing sound all day long. Everything is nearby within 10-20 minutes drive. Excellent customer service provided specifically from Manager. She provided all the necessary information even though we arrived at night and didn’t inform hostel about late check-in.
