Sonnenberg Dormitories has a garden, terrace, a restaurant and bar in Mürren. Located around 5.4 km from Schilthorn, the hostel with free WiFi is also 6.8 km away from Mürren - Schilthorn. Owners were so kind and helpful. So easygoing and hospitable. Super large room with lots of space. Location is a little bit of a walk but so perfect for anyone trying to hike or backpack.

We were so excited to stay at Walters again. This time with our kids. We came here 25 years ago and loved the place. The spacious large room with a good-sized table, the shared kitchen to cook in, and the amazing breakfast for a small extra fee. The breakfast is so large you can use it for breakfast and lunch, and it is brought to your room whatever time you order it for!! We loved having it with the hot chocolate!! 😍 And so close to the bus stop and a short walk anyway to Interlaken Ost if you don't take the bus (only one stop). Whilst it's charm has not changed, our kids loved the high-tech in the rooms, with wireless charging, bedside chargers and power access. Spacious shared bathroom. You can also wash and dry here for an extra fee. We were sad to hear Walter passed away in January, but so glad his son is still carrying on this wonderful service and access to cheaper accommodation to those who want to enjoy the majestic Swiss alps, God's handiwork at its finest! We love this place, and can highly recommend it! Right next to Interlaken Ost Train Station, Youth Hostel Interlaken is situated between Lake Brienz and Lake Thun. It offers free Wi-Fi, a restaurant and a snack bar. Superb location just in front of the station and lake. Great staff and great breakfast. Highly recommend.
