Walters Hostel Interlaken ligt in Interlaken, op 19 km van Grindelwald Terminal, en biedt accommodatie met een tuin, gratis privéparkeren, een gedeelde lounge en een terras. We were so excited to stay at Walters again. This time with our kids. We came here 25 years ago and loved the place. The spacious large room with a good-sized table, the shared kitchen to cook in, and the amazing breakfast for a small extra fee. The breakfast is so large you can use it for breakfast and lunch, and it is brought to your room whatever time you order it for!! We loved having it with the hot chocolate!! 😍 And so close to the bus stop and a short walk anyway to Interlaken Ost if you don't take the bus (only one stop). Whilst it's charm has not changed, our kids loved the high-tech in the rooms, with wireless charging, bedside chargers and power access. Spacious shared bathroom. You can also wash and dry here for an extra fee. We were sad to hear Walter passed away in January, but so glad his son is still carrying on this wonderful service and access to cheaper accommodation to those who want to enjoy the majestic Swiss alps, God's handiwork at its finest! We love this place, and can highly recommend it! Thank you so much Morsel (sorry if I spelt that wrong), we know how hard you work to provide this service to us budget conscious travellers 7 days a week. Thank you so much. 😊🙏

Youth Hostel Interlaken ligt vlak naast het treinstation Interlaken Ost en tussen Brienzersee en Thunersee in. Het hostel is voorzien van gratis WiFi, een restaurant en een snackbar. Superb location just in front of the station and lake. Great staff and great breakfast. Highly recommend.

Set in a traditional Swiss chalet, Lake Lodge Hostel is located directly at Lake Brienz, and offers a free private beach, a garden with outdoor furnishings, and views of the Alpine landscape. Prachtige locatie met erg mooi uitzicht over het water en rustige omgeving. Hostel lag daarnaast op 3 minuten lopen van de bushalte. Vriendelijk personeel.

Bärghuus Axalp bevindt zich op een afgelegen locatie, op 1400 meter boven de zeespiegel. Het biedt directe toegang tot de skipistes. De kamers zijn voorzien van gratis WiFi en houten meubilair. Peter is an amazing host that welcomed us with open arms as soon as we arrived. The location is incredibly stunning!! The room is large with a private bathroom and each room has their own specific kitchen supplies. Everything is well labeled and organized. It was so much more than we could’ve imagined and at the price in that area, it’s a steal! Thank you Peter for your kindness!

Youth Hostel Brienz ligt aan de oevers van het meer van Brienz, een schilderachtige 15 minuten lopen van het treinstation van Brienz. I liked the location first, and I liked that I was given a room with a balcony so I could sit looking over the lake. Close to town and train station too. The owners were really lovely and were more than nice to me and made me feel very welcome.

Hotel Alplodge is te vinden in hartje Interlaken, tussen de Thunersee en de Brienzersee. Great location and comfortable place. We enjoyed our stay at Aplodge.

Balmers Hostel is het oudste privéhostel van Zwitserland. Het hostel is gevestigd in 3 traditionele Zwitserse houten chalets die rondom een binnenplaats, terras en tuin liggen. Fijn en schoon hostel. Ik heb hier veel leuke mensen ontmoet en een fijne tijd gehad.
