Location and the view are just superb!!!! really close to the West street (especially if you rent a bike or bicycle), lots of small fruit shops nearby. Staff is friendly and speaks great English, always trying to help you to find out information. You can grab a decent coffee (for its price) at the reception and enjoy Mountain View near the pool. please be prepared that it’s a guest house, so the room equipment is very minimalist, just with couple of towels, shampoo, shower gel and slippers. Free toothbrush you can grab at the reception. Again, for its price this is a perfect choice for solo travelers or friends trip. Definitely not for families.

It is the best hostel I have stayed at in China. I want to give it more than 10 points if it is possible. It was super clean throughout. The lady working as manager had a native-speaker level of English proficiency as she came to China after living in Boston, US. She was so nice and tried to help me in every way. Its location is perfect as the bus station is only five minute walk away.

The owners were incredibly helpful and spoke great English. It's in a good location, on bus routes to the city centre and one of the train stations. I would definitely stay there again if/when I return to Guilin.

The view is beautiful, the hotel is very clean, the hotel managers are a Chinese and French couple, in addition to their respective native languages, they also speak fluent English, and provided me with a lot of help and advice during my trip to Yangshuo. Especially the airport transfer part, which saved me a lot of energy. The hotel is very clean both in the rooms and in the public areas, there is a small bar, the garden is beautiful, everything is relaxing, I hope I have the opportunity to come here again. For travel friends who don't know which hotel to choose, boldly choose this one.

Murphy Youth Hostel Guilin je útulné prostředí, které nabízí relaxační ubytování. K dispozici je bezplatné Wi-Fi a neplacené parkoviště. Very good location. Close to shops, Guilin North railway station and bus stop (Bus no. 18 takes you to downtown at a cost of 2 yuan only). Staff are super helpful. You can ask them anything (They helped us to book a karaoke room). The hostel has a piano, a guitar and a ukelele, if you need to practise.

Clean and comfortable private room. The hostess was sweet and came to pick us up from the train station - we weren’t expecting this and so it was a lovely touch. Right next to a small night market which has good food.
