Situated in Santa Marta, Viajero Santa Marta Hostel features accommodation with a terrace swimming pool and a rooftop bar with a city view. Really nice and new, nice pool with great view. Staff super helpful. Restaurant also good.

Offering a terrace and views of the garden, Masaya Casas Viejas is set 30 minutes away from Minca in the Magdalena Region by 4x4 or motorcycle, and 12 mi from Santa Marta. Very peaceful place near Minca’s jungle that offered lots of activities so you won’t get bored. Amazing food and very helpful staff! Even if it’s full, it’s doesn’t feel crowded.

Really nice experience in Hostel Vista Verde! I only stayed 1 night but would’ve loved staying more nights there! I needed a room with 2 beds. The unit that was given to me included 2 queen size beds, with its pillows, sheets, and a covering against mosquitos (but it was not needed! The unit was clean and cozy, and the price was really good! The staff was amazing, Julia the owner was really nice, Steffany the cook, prepared a delicious dinner, and all the staff was nice, even Jualia’s son was quite adorable and has my name “Alvaro”. The hostel is around 45 min away from town, and you gotta climb a lot of hills, but it is worth the experience. In general I’d recommend this hotel!

Ubytovanie The Valley Tayrona hostel- A unique social jungle hostel sa nachádza v destinácii El Zaino a hostia tu majú k dispozícii vonkajší bazén, záhradu, terasu a bar. The place is really unique, the beds, the showers, toilets, all is in the middle of the jungle, the food is really delicious, but most of all the staff is excellent, Johan and Angela are a pleasure to be around and to hang out with, but so are the others volunteers

The place is beautiful, it’s super clean, new and very very cosy. The common area is amazing, with hammocks and the nice garden. The kitchen is very well equipped with all you need to cook. And the lady Ruth at the reception was really lovely with me during my stay. Even if you have to walk 10 min from the main road, it worth is as the place is really quiet at night and you don’t hear the noise from the road. Unfortunately I could stayed only one night but I would have loved to stay longer.

This hostel was the best thing in all Santa Marta! Room had an ac, a life saver in this hot climate! Room looked a bit bigger in the picture, but since it has an upper floor it felt really spacious and a lot of natural light coming in, also possible to open the window. Nice to have 2 choices for breakfast. Friendly staff. Good location near restaurants and bus stop (taganga, tayrona, minca). It's not one of the cheapest ones in the town but I think it's worth of the money.
