The owners were fantastically kind. When we arrived at the train station, which is about an hour’s walk from the hostel, learned no taxi would be available for an hour, and phoned to tell them we would be checking in later than scheduled, one of them drove to the hostel to pick us up! Also, sunrise and sunset on the small terrace directly overlooking the Vltava river were magical

Situated 300 metres from the historic centre of Český Krumlov, Hostel Postel offers private rooms, a well-equipped common kitchen, a terrace with seating area and free Wi-Fi. After backpacking for about three moths and staying at various hostels I can easily say that this was the best one! Would rate higher than 10/10 if I could! Super friendly staff, great rooms, cozy beds, it’s got it all! It’s also got it’s own nice art style and a really nice private yard!!!

Hostel Merlin is attractively situated in Český Krumlov, and has a shared lounge, free WiFi and a terrace. Everything was perfect and the owner was ultra friendly and helpful! I would come back to the same place. It's super cozy but actually if all beds would be occupied, maybe it would be a little bit too busy for the space. But for my experience it was 10/10.
