Dieses Hostel – optimal gelegen im Bezirk Ostufer – befindet sich 500 m von Luxor-Museum, 1,9 km von Bahnhof Luxor und 18 km von Medinet Habu Temple entfernt. This lovely hotel is located in the best part of the city for touristic visits; with a room and balconies facing the Sphinx road connecting Luxor and Karnak Temples, it’s 3 minutes walking distance to the Nile River, Luxor Museum, as well as to the Luxor Temple. Taxis and horse carriages are always available at the end of the street, as well as the ferry and sailboat ports that are all 3 to 5 minutes walk from the hotel. And you can walk to Karnak Museum in 25 minutes. The place is very clean, lovely and cozy with a simple and nice decoration. The breakfasts that Mrs. Adel prepares are amazing, and makes you more than full for the day long, with his little boy Muhammed they make your day sunny with a full smile. Mohaz is helpful with everything you need, and off course, Mr. Omar, the manager of the place is a beautiful kind person with the best English that you may find around and he is eager to arrange your travel needs in minutes. As if it’s all is not enough, there is also a beautiful restaurant downstairs 😊. What else you can expect from a small hotel in Luxor?

Dieses Hostel – gut gelegen im Bezirk Westliches Nilufer – befindet sich 1,3 km von Medinet Habu Temple, 2,2 km von Colossi of Memnon und 2,3 km von Deir el-Medina entfernt. Ahmed, his wife and the entire family made us feel at home, and treated us as family, they allowed us to experience the local Egyptian culture, we stayed for 6 days and enjoyed every minute, the entire family was very attentive to our needs and helped us with any questions we had. Ahmed made us a private tour package at a excellent price with a very knowledgeable tour guide. Ahmed wife cooked amazing, delicious meals for us, we ate better at magic place than any 5 star restaurants in our visit to Egypt. The property was very clean, very comfortable, the hot water and pressure was outstanding, linen very clean, well located in a typical Egyptian neighborhood, very safe and near all archeological sites. Ahmed thank you for allow us to be part of your family, we arrived as guess and departed as Family, we will definitely come back and stay at Magic place. We highly recommend Magic Place to everyone.

Im Dorf El Gezira begrüßt Sie das Ramsess Hotel mit klimatisierten Zimmern mit einem Sat-TV. Die öffentliche Fähre am Westufer des Nils befindet sich nur wenige Minuten entfernt. Breakfast was delicious, a fresh egg dish that tasted amazing. The bedrooms were painted really vibrant colours. The place has a lovely outdoor courtyard with a tree that you eat breakfast in. The host Nasser is really kind and made sure I was comfortable and had everything I needed. I did not feel pushed to do anything I didn't want to. Nasser helped organise a hot air balloon ride when I asked, he picked me up from the bus station when I arrived. The hotel also did my laundry for a small extra charge. I really felt at home at this hotel. The upper floors have a gorgeous view of the Nile and it's a relaxed place to be. Tea was offered sometimes without any charge. Overall, the best hotel I stayed at Egypt with tremendous value for money.

Tolle Lage, 5 min zu Fuss vom Bahnhof und vom Luxor Tempel/Nil entfernt, dabei völlig ruhig! Es ist alles sehr sauber, an unserem Ankunftstag haben wir ausserdem gesehen, wie das ganze Haus geputzt wurde, sauberer geht es nicht! Auf dem Dach gibt es eine wunderbare Terasse, wo man sich jederzeit aufhalten kann und wo auch das gute Frühstück und auf Wunsch ein wunderbares, hausgemachtes ägyptisches Abendessen serviert wird. Eine besondere Erwähnung möchte ich Abdu und seinem Team zukommen lassen, die Gastfreundschaft, Freundlichkeit und Hilfsbereitschaft ist wirklich aussergewöhnlich! Abdu (sowie mehrere seiner Angestellten) spricht ausgezeichnetes Englisch und auch Deutsch (vielleicht auch mehr Sprachen, das wissen wir nicht). Das Hostel organisiert Taxis, Ausflüge aller Art und Kreuzfahrten. Wir haben einen Tag in Theben West verbracht und eine Fahrt nach Dendera unternommen und hatten beide Male sehr nette und gute Fahrer und haben eindeutig weniger bezahlt als anderswo. Ich kann das Sweet Hostel jedem empfehlen!

Das Venus Hostel liegt nur 5 Gehminuten vom Luxor-Tempel entfernt. Die Mitarbeiter organisieren gerne Leihfahrräder und Mietwagen für Sie. We really enjoyed our stay at Venus! It was comfortable, complete with an AC, a large balcony, and fast wifi, and the location was very central. The staff were exceptionally friendly--particularly Adneny and Bakar, who we got to chatting with and became friends with :) Luxor beledna!

Sehr nettes, freundliches, hilfsbereites, Rezeptionspersonal, perfekte Gastgeber. Wir empfehlen allen Reisenden diese Unterkunft herzlichst und werden bei unserem nächsten Aufenthalt in Luxor definitiv wieder dort übernachten.
