Anne-Marie was a friendly, helpful, welcoming host with lots of information about Calanques National Park and all the beaches in the area. She is a native French speaker but can communicate in English. I couldn’t ask for more from a hostel! The outdoor area is absolutely beautiful and charming, with lots of plants, and places to hang wet clothes. The location is a five minute walk from the center, and the port, and there are restaurants even closer. There is a stove, microwave, fridge, freezer, two communal bathrooms and showers. The property is very quaint but there is lots of space, with only six people per room (there are two rooms total) However, other amenities aren’t plentiful. -no laundry machines, but there is a laundromat right down the street with washers and dryers for roughly €10 - very minimal free breakfast -like many hostels in Europe, you pay a few euros for city tax in cash at the end of your stay -not a party hostel at all but everyone was friendly and had great vibes (which I prefer)

Offering an outdoor swimming pool with views of the sea, Cassis Hostel is set in a Provençal villa in Cassis. This property features a garden, a terrace and free Wi-Fi access throughout. The pool, kitchen and shared areas were lovely. Kind and helpful staff that assist with everything. Having a nice breakfast was very appreciated.

Breakfast was nothing special, but up to standard for the price range.
