Set in Pullathomas village, the family-run Kilcommon Lodge Holiday Hostel is surrounded by mature gardens and offers far-reaching views across Sruwaddacon Bay. Really lovely hostel. Was nice and cosy, even in december. Good kitchen for cooking and there’s a nice spacious livingroom. Betty is great and she gave us great tips on walks in the area. Lovely views from the hostel and there’s geese and ducks in the garden. Great vibes, will come back again.

Most of all, the Valley House attracts musicians and a packed audience.

Set in Cong, 1 km from Ashford Castle in County Mayo, Lakeland House offers budget accommodation with barbecue facilities and free private parking. The landlady was super kind. I will never forget my stay there, I had bad health conditions and she supported me and was too kind to me and stood by me.

Old Mill Holiday Hostel is located in Westport and housed in a historic building dating back to around 1780. Free WiFi access is available, as well as a shared kitchen. The hostel was very well maintained and cleaned everyday including bedsheets and common areas. The staff is really helpful and it's very safe too.
