My first ever stay in a hostel so I was a bit weary. If all hostels are like this, their reputation would be very different. I was very kindly greeted and registered at the desk, the staff were exceptionally nice (and I'd had a bad day so it was extra appreciated), it was clean, they served breakfast and the communal spaces are pretty cool. The rooms came with an ensuite toilet and bathroom. Would recommend 100%.

Snoozles is a modern & purpose built tourist hostel. It’s Galway City Centre location beside the Coach and Train Stations is just a 2 minute walk to Eyre Square in the heart of Galway City. Location, just around the corner from the bus station. Super nice staff. Good variety of food for breakfast. Confortable beds. They clean your bathroom every day!
