Objekat Tashila Hostel, koji je smešten u gradu Gangtok, na 1,6 km od znamenitosti Stadion Palzor, u ponudi ima smeštaj sa besplatnim biciklima, privatnim parkingom, zajedničkim salonom i terasom. The place is super spacious, I felt like I was staying in a villa. There’s a balcony with seating, a big couch with a TV in the living room, an upstairs balcony with lounge chair and an upstairs common room. If I had more time I would have hung out here for a while. They even have a working space (and good wifi) which makes it the ideal spot to chill out. The owner and his staff are super friendly and made me feel right at home. From the moment I arrived to the moment I left, they helped me with anything and everything I’d need and answered every question. Whenever I’d go out they’d help arrange transportation and make sure I get a fair price. The beds are super comfy and the rooms have a very homely feel to it. The whole place is spic and span, very tidy and clean, and the included breakfast is simple but delicious. They make a killer toast! Opt to take dinner with them in the evening, they’re really good cooks! Definitely recommend staying here!

Addy’s Inn is a fantastic place to stay! Addy was a great help, offering expert assistance and guidance throughout my stay. The breakfasts and all the meals that I had were delicious. The place is super clean and the vibe is relaxed and hospitable. The location is about a 2 km walk from MG Marg (the “busy” hub) in a quiet neighborhood. The view from the balcony, of the Gangtok area and mountain is great. I would most definitely stay here again. Highly recommended!

Objekat Mochilero Ostello u gradu Pelling nudi smeštaj samo za odrasle sa vrtom, terasom i barom. Ovaj smeštajni objekat ima turistički desk, a gostima je na raspolaganju i restoran. I could see the dim outline of Kanchenjunga, not the clear view because it was hazy. Personally it was still good. Anyway April was not the right time to see the clear view. Michilero(backpacker in Spanish) Ostello(hostel in Italian) was a great place to stay in Pelling. Everything - home made food, family atmosphere  - was perfect. And Wake in Himalayas, the hostel next to Mochilero Ostello, was also a nice place run by warm hearted family.

Objekat Zemu Gangtok, koji se nalazi u gradu Gangtok, na 12 min. hoda od znamenitosti Namgyal Institute of Tibetology, nudi smeštaj sa vrtom, besplatnim privatnim parkingom, zajedničkim salonom i... Everything. The rooms are among the tidiest and cleanest I have ever seen in any hostel. Everything is sparkly clean. They have a great library common room, high speed wifi, and free filtered water. Also the 2 dogs they have are absolutely lovely and want to cuddle all the time. But all of that pales in comparison to the helpfulness and patience of the staff there. I asked a million questions, trying to organize trips and permits and they helped me along every step of the way. Calling them, even after hours, they did what they could and I am immensely thankful for that. I was even escorted to the bus when leaving to make absolutely sure everything goes smoothly. This amount and dedication to service, for this small price. Well. I am left speechless. 10/10 hopefully I can come back one day with a group to check out all the cool places one needs special permits for in Sikkim that I missed this time.

The staff were very kind and helpful. The location was very convenient. It was one of the best accomodations in Sikkim.

Objekat Tag Along Backpackers, koji nudi besplatne bicikle, nalazi se u gradu Gangtok u regiji Sikkim, na 19 min. hoda od znamenitosti Stadion Palzor i 2 km od znamenitosti Manastir Enchey. The best part of this hostel is the staff, the vibe and the community, which centers around the cafe. The cafe is a great place to meet people. The staff is engaged and organizes great outings. Most importantly, the owners and most staff are engaged in the local community and are super knowledgeable. Tag Along and Tag Along 2.0 were my best hostel experiences in 5 months in India, and are a model of what hostels should be.
