The family who own and manage the hotel are fabulous. Nancy speaks excellent English and responds immediately to questions and requests. Her father is especially helpful, even helping me to repair a flat tire on my bike. They also allowed us to store our bikes and bags while did the overnight hike to Musoorrie and back. All the staff went above and beyond to make our stay perfect. They are the very best of India. Highly recommend.

Hands down one of the best hostels in the region. The vibe is great, good location and an amazing host Mr. Harshit. Will come back again for another visit before the monsoon hits! Recommended.

Overall Indian Culture made a stay in Tapovan extremely comfortable. It is fantastic value for money offering dorm style beds and twin share rooms depending on your budget. All rooms including dorm air coned. Property has a clothes line to use when needed and great mountain views and a peaceful relaxing welcoming atmosphere

There are some easy hicking tracks around, which they can show to you. The sleeping area is very clean and new, it have all simple things to enjoy and feel good. They have a cafe with normal price and tasty food. I will recomend to stay here. Best value for this price.
