La sala comune ha un’atmosfera molto piacevole. Ottima la posizione a due passi dal piccolo centro. È disponibile il servizio lavanderia con lavatrice ed asciugatrice (se utilizzate entrambe il costo è di 1500 Isk- circa 10€) e in più dispongono di una sauna da poter utilizzare gratuitamente! un soggiorno da 10 e lode

Set in Bakkafjörður, NorthEast Guesthouse features a garden. Among the facilities of this property are a restaurant, a shared kitchen and a shared lounge, along with free WiFi. All'interno c'è una palestra con campo da basket e un pianoforte a coda!!! Posto ai confini del mondo. La ragazza che gestisce è stata super gentile e puntuale. Camera grande.

L'Húsey Hostel & Horsefarm si trova a 55 km da Egilsstadir. L'ostello dispone di camere familiari. Le camere dell'ostello sono dotate di bagno in comune con doccia. It was our sixth time visiting Iceland and we wanted to explore the north and east of the country. Because our daughter loves horses, we chose a farm stay, with the added bonus of being really off the beaten tracks and giving that "end of the world" sensation. We were not disappointed. We were welcomed by the host and her dog Aska, who gave us a tour of the hostel building (the other being the family house). It's a traditional, mostly-wooden building with plenty of rooms, a spacious kitchen and a veranda (which we could not enjoy in October due to the temperature but must be very pleasant in the summer months). We had a large room for the three of us and our own bathroom across the hallway. Despite a windy and rainy night, we slept really well. Make sure to bring food with you for dinner/breakfast as it's a long drive to the nearest shops ;-) In the off times, my daughter and I went to greet the friendly Icelandic horses in their pastures. We had a busy program the next day so couldn't stick around much longer but we would have enjoyed the hikes in the areas for bird watching and possibly seal watching. Would definitely come back for a longer period.

Situato a Seyðisfjörður, l'Hafaldan HI Hostel - Harbour Building offre gratuitamente il WiFi in tutta la struttura e un parcheggio privato. This isn’t something I usually notice but the hostel was very well structured. The layout was very convenient and comfortable (showers were separated nicely with lots of space, lots of space for luggage in the rooms and under the bed, head space on top bunks etc) and there were outlets and usb ports in each bunk. The entire building had such a comfortable, welcoming vibe, not to mention it was very aesthetic and had an incredible view of the mountains and ocean. Nicely designed with a funky color palette and lots of decor. It was a 14 minute walk to the town centre but it had guides, maps, board games, and books all in the hostel. The kitchen was clean and had all the utilities organized and sanitized nicely. Staff were incredibly kind and accommodating and even helped me set up a ride to the airport. Wish I could have stayed longer!

Gli spazi comuni sono molto ampi, luminosi e attrezzati. Sono presenti più cucine (4 lavelli e 3 piani cottura). La camera è comoda con un letto a castello, uno semplice e un bagno con lavello e wc. I bagni comuni sono ampi con doccia grande, wc e lavello e puliti. Rispetto agli altri alloggi in cui siamo stati il costo è più contenuto pur godendo di una camera singola.
