Baron's Hostel ligger godt i centrum af Reykjavík og har have, gratis wi-fi og fælles opholdsstue. Very well organized, clean with nice minimalist architecture. I loved the large kitchen with free tea and coffee. Moreover, I got to swim in the affordable pool where locals go everyday for a chat and relaxation, it had hottubs, sauna and steam room. Overall, very low cost but high quality experience I had while staying in this hostel.

Hi i had heard that this hostel had gotten a bad review and i wanted to say that have been here for some time and although you may not see it if you stay only for a short time but this is actually a very friendly place. I understand that the main complaints are about not finding staff when you first come here and that is the only problem i had so i just want to point out for people that usually you are supposed to wait in the bottom floor until they see you on the camera, the staff are sometimes on the second floor. But if you are not seeing any staff you can walk inside two white, and wide doors up to the Mosque, there you can ask for the staff just remember to take your shoes off and be quiet and polite as it is a Mosque. Also i read someone complaining of drug use and that might be a misunderstanding as i was careless and left my medications on the table, so overall this is a very nice place :)
