Situated on western Iceland’s Snaefellsnes Peninsula, this former fish processing factory has been converted into a professional theatre and artsy hostel. Free WiFi access is available throughout. Freezer Hostel has a huge living room, with musical instruments, many books, games, coffee & tea, very warm and inviting, and immediately feels like home! I even made some music with one of the staff (flute & guitar), met many great people. This is probably the best (or one of the best) hostels in Iceland.

Grundarfjordur Hostel is located in Grundarfjordur village on Snæfellsness Peninsula. It offers free parking and individually decorated guest rooms with free WiFi access. Very clean…more than what I expected from a guesthouse . Value for money

Set a 12-minute drive from the West Fjods village of Flateyri , this hostel offers basic rooms with free Wi-Fi access, as well as mountain and river views. Dynjandi Waterfall is 72 km away. the people were really nice, the site and the house were perfect and the host was great !

Boasting a shared lounge, Gistiheimilið Bergistangi 2 is situated in Norðurfjörður. The hostel features both free WiFi and free private parking. The apartment was very clean and the kitchen was well equipped. The owner was very friendly and helpful.

Isafjordur Hostel is set in Ísafjörður and offers accommodation with shared bathrooms. wonderful little hostel with an amazing and eclectic group of folks staying there. clean, comfortable (but remember to bring a sleeping bag or you’ll be charged for a quilt).
