If you stay here, know that the dinners and breakfasts are cooked by the mom of the family, and she's an exceptional cook. What's more, most of the food is grown in their garden downstairs. On our last night we had a lengthy conversation with the eldest son of the family, about jordanian culture and traditions, which was extremely interesting. The rooms are great and spacious, with comfortable beds, have a mini fridge and the hostel is 12 minutes drive trough a gorgeous road. Last but not least, as the name says the place has a breathtaking view over the mountains that surround Petra. If you have dinner here you'll enjoy a beautiful view of the sunset behind the mountains.

I can not say enough great things about this guest house. Owner and family live across the street. Treated me like VIP family. Mohammad went out of his way to make all my Petra dreams come true on a budget, including finding me a Nabatean cave to sleep in and grilled dinner himself! The family is wonderful and made delicious dinners and breakfasts. Only a few blocks from the Petra entrance. Great advice. Helped me get great market items, too.

Mr. Yaser indeed welcomed me very warmly and catered for my needs. He prepared delicious breakfast dishes for me, and even had my clothes ironed. You definitely want to stay at this place. Plus it’s spotlessly clean!

This is a new, up and coming, small family business, so they are very keen to meet the customers' needs and are very receptive to feedback. We were greeted with a welcome drink and snacks. We were very pleased to find there was a free washing machine. They responded to our needs for things such as towels, a clothes line etc. The shared bathroom was only shared between two rooms and it wasn't an issue at all. They supplied a delicious Jordanian breakfast for us, made from their own produce. I would recommend giving this business a shot!

We were very happy with our stay here! The staff was friendly and helpful. The room was spacious and super comfortable. The bathroom was perfectly clean. It is located in a very quiet neighborhood. We got little breakfast packages to take with us, perfect to continue our trip :)

Everything goes good experience that I have it for 4 it's time with this beautiful people but gentle people they over for us everything very good they give us a lot of surface location is so good clean room food very nice delicious hot water's room it's excellent surface is very nice Internet it's so good and very good people very friendly I recommend everybody to stay here because I spend the four days I'm wonderful wonderful my lovely experience that I had it ever in my life just right here with this beautiful family they just grow up business they've been one week ago working it doesn't get the chance to work I am the first clients who arrive here I really recommend you because really they are lovely they leave you to be a they just don't bother you this doesn't hustle you no scam a very nice bright so good

Petra Cabin Hostel is situated in Wadi Musa, 4.9 km from Al Khazneh The Treasury and 5.4 km from Petra Church. From the moment we checked in we were welcomed with open arms, everyone was incredibly friendly. We chose a cabin with mountain view and were amused by how cozy the space was, it doesn’t feel cramped at all and has an extra space to leave the luggage beside the bed. The cabin is also equipped with a safe you can close with a key. The showers were cleaned after each use and the warm water worked right away. The sinks outside are clean and soap was always available. We chose to have dinner at the hostel and: wow, for 7JD pp we got a buffet with different spreads, bread, salads, a delicious soup, rice, falafel and dessert (besides from pasta and a non-vegetarian option). Even if you’re staying elsewhere, I would highly recommend coming for dinner. Overall it was a lovely place to stay during our visit to Petra and we would definitely come back.
