The rooms are great and spacious, with comfortable beds, have a mini fridge and the hostel is 12 minutes drive trough a gorgeous road. Last but not least, as the name says the place has a breathtaking view over the mountains that surround Petra. If you have dinner here you'll enjoy a beautiful view of the sunset behind the mountains.

Mohammad went out of his way to make all my Petra dreams come true on a budget, including finding me a Nabatean cave to sleep in and grilled dinner himself! The family is wonderful and made delicious dinners and breakfasts. Only a few blocks from the Petra entrance. Great advice. Helped me get great market items, too.

The bathroom was clean too and hot water with high pressure was always available. The property was also warm all night. Big thanks to the host who was very welcoming and helpful. A big advantage was that he speaks English fluently. Extra guidance was offered and his hospitality made us feel home! Breakfast was delicious and we really loved the box option as we were in a hurry that morning. Location is perfect, just a couple of minutes away from Petra’s main entrance, plus it was calm at night which is really hard to find. Overall, we had a great experience and we would definitely come back

First of all, I highly recommend that you book this wonderful hostel with its location and owners. Secondly, I would like to share with you my experience with this hostel. I arrived almost at sunset, and the view was indescribable. The view was stunning and more than fantastic. Then I ordered a dinner, where I ordered a dish called “Maqluba”, which was very delicious and had a wonderful combination of flavours, at an acceptable price, the quantity was very sufficient. Then I ask for a cup of Turkish coffee and sat in the main hall of the hostel. After that I went to the bed which was very comfortable and clean. In the morning, I woke up early with this most wonderful atmosphere, the fresh air and the quiet, picturesque place. I ordered a breakfast containing traditional food and it was more than wonderful, with a cup of hot tea and hot bread as well. It was a wonderful experience and I recommend it to everyone. I would like to thank this wonderful family for this wonderful hospitality, delicious food, and their constant smile on their faces.
