Lovely staff, very cozy atmosphere in the common room. Shower room was the largest I've seen on any trip to Japan, which is excellent for taller people. Beds were comfortable and had good privacy. Excellent value for location.

Spent three wonderful days here, very cozy Japanese traditional house. The staff make me feel warm. What's interesting is that on Chinese New Year's Eve (it's also my birthday) I sat in the restaurant with the hostel boss I guess, I was eating my meal, he was using the computer, and it was quiet around the fire until late at night. He kindly helped me clean up my kitchen waste. I got a sticker at the front desk to put on my suitcase. All are unforgettable memories.

Niseko Backpackers Hostel Tabi-Tsumugi ligt op 10 minuten lopen van het treinstation JR Kutchan en biedt eenvoudige accommodatie met extra lange bedden. We had an amazing stay here. Riyo is a great host and went out of his way for us multiple times. Pick ups from the train station and morning shuttles to Mt Hirafu made things so easy. The dorm rooms are the most spacious I have had and they are super private and warm. The common areas are clean and inviting. You feel at home the moment you walk in. The kitchen has everything you need and the effort Riyo puts in for cleanliness doesn't go unnoticed. Highly recommend this place.

Staff is the most friendly we met in Japan, really lovely people! Good location, just a short walking distance from the lake and the visitor center.

The room has everything necessary for a comfortable stay: a small refrigerator, shower, toilet, sink, kettle, flashlight, lamps, a pleasant view from the window. The hotel staff is very polite, they told us about the attractions and answered accompanying questions.

The facilities were amazing. There's a nice open area on the 2nd floor where the reception is that you can hang out in without any time limits. There's a nice kitchen to use, a place to watch shows or play video games, ping pong, or just chill. The staff, particularly the manager, was very helpful when I was trying to plan my trip and deal with some stuff that was only in Japanese. I'm always surprised by review scores people give in Japan in general, because it's as though they are expecting perfection compared to other countries. In general, anything above an 8 here is like a 9+ in other countries. This place easily warranted a 10 for me.

遊悠館 is gelegen in Chitose, op 35 km van Treinstation Shin-Sapporo en 44 km van station Sapporo. Clean and tranquil place. The staff were helpful, considerate,and awesome! A konbini ( convenience store) is located next to it.

HELIO HOSTEL SAPPORO is gunstig gelegen in de wijk Sapporo Centrum in Sapporo, en is gelegen op 13 km van Treinstation Shin-Sapporo, 20 km van Otarushi Zenibako City Center en 36 km van Station Otaru.... Friendly staff, so clean, beautiful cafe to work. Amazing place for the price in the center of Sapporo!

Everything was perfect for us. However, upon talking to other people who were staying at the same location, we were shocked to find out that there was no air conditioning in their room. This made their stay extremely uncomfortable. We had air conditioning in our room. When I brought it up with management, they said that some rooms have it and some rooms don’t. It is then very important when you book to ask for a room With air conditioning, if that is important to you.
