K's House Nikko - Kinugawa Onsen Hostel ligger i Nikko, 18 km från Tōbu-Nikkō station, och erbjuder boende med en gemensam lounge, gratis privat parkering och en terrass. The location is beautiful, right on the corner of a gorge where you can see the river at the bottom. There are trees everywhere and the onsen is pristine. The kitchen area is huge and immaculate, plus the bed in the dorms are comfy and there is tons of space to put your things. The staff were very welcoming and friendly, and spoke English very well too!

Guesthouse Kincha 駅東口 ligger i Utsunomiya, 38 km från Nikkō station och 38 km från Tōbu-Nikkō station, och erbjuder rum med luftkonditionering och delat badrum. I think this was the most comfortable bed that I have experienced in Japan, hotels and ryokans included... I don't know why, but I really had the best sleep of my whole trip. The location is great, just next to the station, and the owner is happu to offer some suggestions of were to eat and what to visit on your next days. I will definetly come back if I have the chance :)

Chus ligger i Kuroiso, 30 km från Shirakawa station, och erbjuder boende med en gemensam lounge, gratis privat parkering och en restaurang. Incredible owner, very friendly and helping. Good food and free tea. Very nice house and facilities.
