Free Wi-Fi and a 24-hour reception are offered at the youth Hostel. It is located 650 meters from Mexico City Cathedral and Zócalo Square. I went with my brother and we booked a large room with two beds and two bathrooms it was surprisingly spacious and nicely decorated. Beware there are a lot of stairs but it's a fun place attracting young guests so should be fine :) and we loved the rooftop terrace for a drink or two. Staff was great as well.

The hostel staff were warm and inviting, the beds had privacy blinds plus were very comfortable, hot water in the shower, lovely breakfast included, nice communal spaces, good social activities going on. The hostel is in a very safe area so as as solo female I could feel safe walking around especially at night,

Located 3.1 km from National Cinematheque, Cozy Private Room offers a shared lounge, a garden and accommodation with a patio and free WiFi. The house is in a nice, safe and quiet neighborhood. The rooms and bathrooms are very clean and tidy. Alexander, the young man in charge of the place is a helpful and cooperative lad. You can reach him through Whatsapp if you need extra information. The location is excellent, three blocks away from the Metro stations “Eugenia” and “División Norte”. There are several shops nearby where you can buy an OXXO sim card to be used while you are in Mexico, if you are a foreigner. In about 5 minutes you can walk to the closest Sanborns for breakfast or other meal: a good restaurant with a very pleasant atmosphere and service. It even has an INBURSA Bank ATM inside. However, there are lots of different places to eat and drink in the area, including the local market called “24 de Agosto”, within walking distance via Anaxágoras street. The supermarket SORIANA is also nearby. "Esperanza", an excellent bakery on Avenida Cuautehmoc offers a variety of breads and "tostadas", the crispy corn tortillas. And for the ladies who like to look well all the time, there are plenty of hairdressers in the area. I would definitely stay there again, when I go back to CDMX.

Looks to be recently renovated and everything was nice Very secure. Needed key card to go on elevator. The guard in the lobby was helpful. The person who checked me in remembered my name 2 days later.

Located in Mexico City Historic Centre, only 4 minutes’ walk from Zocalo Square, this hostel has free Wi-Fi connection in commune areas. Great location. The dormitory room is spacious. You don't have a key for main door entrance access, but they 24 hour reception to open the door for you.
