Beautiful orchards right outside. Very peaceful. Kerikeri is a great base for visiting other places like Russell. It also has great markets!

Haka Lodge Paihia boasts picturesque sea views and a central location, just across the road from Paihia Beach. Perfect location! Amazing ensuite rooms, with flatscreen tv and Apple TV to watch Netflix etc. shower has amazing water pressure.

Under new management from mid 2022 and just 80 metres from Paihia Beach, Peppertree Lodge & Backpackers features 3 tennis courts and a barbecue area with outdoor seating. We had our own room & bathroom. The shared kitchen was large. Walking distance from waterfront, restaurants & tour meet locations.

Centabay Lodge offers budget accommodation right in the centre of Paihia. Choose from a bed in one of the spacious dormitory rooms or stay in a private room to suit your budget. Centabay was my favourite hostel that I stayed at in New Zealand!!! I loved the vibrant atmosphere, the lovely backpacker-staff and the wonderful manager who was always a joy to chat with. The prices are incredibly reasonable for a place in the middle of Paihia, and you can tell the manager isn't in it for the profit - she genuinely wants to help travellers have the best experience possible. The hot tub worked well and was always great to use. The hammocks and tropical garden are another bonus. I could go on and on!
