Located in Turangi, Riverstone Lodge, a 5-star hostel, offers a shared kitchen, a shared lounge and free WiFi. The property provides garden views and a terrace. I had a wonderful time at the Riverstone Lodge! Sandra was the best host, always helpful and cheerful. The common rooms and kitchen were very clean and comfortable, and it felt like living in a flat share with other travelers. The location was also great, close to the town center, and a perfect starting point for the Tongariro crossing or fishing.

The staff were very friendly and helpful. They will help give you a ride, find a ride, or find a shuttle for Tongariro Alpine Crossing. They will even connect you with other hostel people who maybe travelling the same way as you. One worker helped carry my bag and took me to where to take the Intercity bus. Staff really made the stay an amazing experience. Thank you!
