Finlay Jack's Backpackers offers an ideal location in Taupo. The hostel offers single bed dormitory's. The bed! Normally I don't like upper bunk bed but this one is stairs, not ladders to going up. Also, there are 2 pillows in the bed that never happened in another hostel in NZ. I really appreciate that!

Amenities (kitchen and laundry) were clean and well thought out. Enjoyed the girls only dorm with the extra perk of a private balcony.
