The area is popular for hiking, and car hire is available at the hostel. this was such a memorable experience! the views are amazing from here. It is rustic, but that is to be expected for a mountain hut. From the mountain hut you can easily walk to some old World War I bunkers and some really nice day hikes (moderate hikes that don’t involve rock climbing or via ferratas). The dinner was delicious - I had the cabbage soup with sausage. I arrived in the evening when there was plenty of parking, the next morning there was hardly any due to all the day hikers. It was so nice to be able to start my hike from right there.
