The staff was super friendly and attentive. The rooms and common areas where super good, and the new lobby/common area was amazing! I would totally stay here again

Location: So close to beach, hilo and vulcano national park Free Parking nearby Super spacious room with comfortable double bed Very friendly owner Least expensive private room on the whole island, maybe even in whole of state hawaii Kitchen fully equipped, Restrooms nice Nice sitting area outside, and hanging around makes fun too, super quiet to sleep. My favorite Hostel from now on, i would call the whole area with private rooms more like HOTEL instead of HOSTEL

Open Gate Hostel Hawaii asub Pahoas, 1,1 km kaugusel Kaimu rannast. Kohapeal on aed, tasuta eraparkla, ühine puhkeruum ja terrass. Helpful staf that picked and dropped me in Pahoa. Pretty good wifi. I had to make a video call (which I usually don't do and hate) and it worked fine. Room was comfortable. The road is in bad condition but regular cars can definitely make it. Clean. Very remote. Again, I liked it, but maybe not for everyone.

Located on the southern coast of Honolulu Island, this hostel is one block from Kuhio Beach and the Honolulu Zoo. The Polynesian Hostel offers comfortable accommodations. Joe was super amazing! We had to send a package back home and they helped us so much. The room was cozy and nice.
